I use my art-practice to investigate the surrounding society and draw inspiration from everyday life, the media, political debate, and socio-cultural phenomena relating to hierarchies and power relations. My art intervenes, actively takes part in society by making a place for itself - often an unexpected place. Art should infiltrate and distort aspects of society, it should twist, turn and pinpoint important issues and questions. The critical potential of art is creative and investigative, it is exploration without demand to produce predictable results or to confirm specific theories.

The border between fiction and reality is central in my work. These two concepts are always shifting and interacting with each other: what we perceive as truth can often be genial enactments and vice versa. All situations contain the possibility of change and transformation. My art is an unknown factor, addressing both fiction and reality from a different angle, and it creates space for action and a place for reflection.
